The aim of this thesis is to explore the interinstitutional collaboration between the police and social work in supporting female victims of violence, as well as the potential challenges that may arise. The study examines the structures and dynamics within various support organizations and how these entities generate proposals for improvements in violence prevention. To answer the research questions, semi-structured interviews were conducted with experts from different social work and police organizations to gain a comprehensive understanding of victim support efforts. The findings reveal a close cooperation and willingness to jointly develop new measures to protect female victims of violence, thereby challenging societal stereotypes and patriarchal mindsets.
