A lot of companies nowadays have the problem of finding qualified personnel. On the one hand, this can be attributed to the general shortage of skilled workers and, on the other hand, this phenomenon is reinforced by the lack of innovation in the recruiting area of the companies themselves. It is therefore important to find out how to tackle these challenges. The internal problems at the companies are mostly due to inefficiency in the digital recruiting process, insufficient integration of process management and process management methods, and a lack of adaptation to digital recruiting trends. This bachelor's thesis uses the example of the company epunkt GmbH to show how such a development can be counteracted. The first chapter, the introduction, describes the company based on which the recruiting process is analysed. Additionally, the problem statement and the practical relevance, as well as the objectives are described. On top of that, a research question and a hypothesis are formulated. Chapter two describes the applied research methodology used to answer the research question and the hypothesis. For this purpose, a systematic literature review and five structured expert interviews were conducted. In the next chapter three, the theoretical foundations required for the following elaboration are presented. The chapter deals with process management, the specific recruiting process itself, the topic of recruiting in general and change management. In chapter four, process management is applied in the company epunkt GmbH and the recruiting process is analysed. The methods described in the previous chapter were used for this purpose. Finally, in chapter five, the conclusion of the thesis is described and thus the research question and hypothesis are answered and substantiated. As a result of this bachelor’s thesis, recommendations for epunkt GmbH are presented. By applying process management and its corresponding methods of analysis and improvement, weaknesses and potential for optimisation were identified in the company's current recruiting process. The IT systems in use have a particular influence on the process. Specifically, these are the applicant tracking system and the matching tool. The last interview, in which the results of a pilot project relating to a new matching tool were presented, confirmed that the new tool has increased efficiency in the process.
