Abstract

In a dynamic world where digitization and technological progress are steadily advancing, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into business processes could prove to be an essential success factor for increasing efficiency and innovation in companies. The present work highlights the topic “Optimisation of business processes through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the example of Wiener Wohnen Kundenservice GmbH (WrWKS)”. The central research question is how AI technologies could be used to make business processes more efficient and what potential impacts this could have on a company like WrWKS. In the empirical part of the work, a qualitative examination is carried out using expert ininterviews in order to compare the theoretical findings with practical experiences. The interviews were transcribed and evaluated through a qualitative content analysis. The research shows that the integration of AI into business processes could enable efficiency gains. Especially in the field of documentation and evaluation processes, AI technologies offer potential for automation and improvement of precision. For example, automated planning algorithms could make comparison and cost estimation in the annual planning process more efficient and accurate. Text analysis and interpretation of findings by AI could support the process steps of analyzing inputs and determining the need for repair. Image recognition technologies could improve the assignment and documentation of defects during on-site inspections. AI could also review offers or create bid proposals, monitor order status in real time, and send notifications in case of delays.
