In this thesis, a universal test system (UTS) has been built out of a pre-existing standing-drill machine. The aim of this was to investigate the materials, which are used to create the wiring in the sensor products of the company sendance, on both tensile and flexural capabilities. Therefore, the UTS was built in a way that the force, applied to the wire connections, could be measured and recalculated into tensile or flexural strength, depending on the test scenario. The UTS can be operated via a graphical user interface (GUI) and generates stress-strain-diagrams (SSD), which were used to compare the different materials with each other. The main goal of these comparisons was to find out which of the tested materials would benefit a certain application the most. This should help the company to create data sheets on the different material combinations, which in turn can aid during discussions with customers to find the best materials for the desired project specifications.
