According to scientific studies, cannabis use among young people is associated with numerous health effects. The aim of prevention is to minimize and eliminate the health risks and disadvantages of cannabis use. A quantitative survey of Austrian students aged 19-29 at various Austrian universities will be used to identify the sources of information used by young social work students in Austria aged between 19 and 29 to learn about the effects of cannabis use cannabis use among young social work students in Austria between the ages of 19 and 29, how intensively they use these sources, and what topics they are confronted with in the process. In addition, aspects are presented that could indicate a potential increase in knowledge about the effects of cannabis use as a result of the use of prevention services. Finally, it will be shown to what extent the use of prevention services could influence consumption behavior and encourage the intention to reduce or stop existing cannabis consumption.
