This master’s thesis examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used in the post-production process of product videos in the German-speaking region and what changes result from it. For this purpose, the first part of the thesis presents the theoretical foundations of video marketing, video production, and artificial intelligence. Subsequently, based on the literature, a post-production process for product videos will be developed, which will serve as the foundation for the empirical research conducted through semi-structured expert interviews. In these interviews with experts from the video production industry, the post-production process derived from the literature will be examined step by step to determine in which phases artificial intelligence is used and what changes occur as a result. Furthermore, the experts will be asked about the changes they expect in the future of the post-production process due to the use of artificial intelligence. The results show that AI is already being used in various stages of product video post-production, such as editing, color grading, and audio post-processing, to reduce time and effort and make the processes simpler and more accessible. Additionally, it is expected that AI will bring about even more profound changes in production workflows and the post-production industry in the future.
