In many organizations, unclear workflows and roles create uncertainty and make everyday work more difficult for employees. This can lead to insecurity, frustration, and disengagement. At the same time, companies face increasing demands due to new technologies, a shortage of skilled workers, and higher expectations regarding the work environment. This thesis explores how process management can help improve employee satisfaction and engagement. The aim is to examine which conditions must be met for processes to be perceived as helpful in daily work. The theoretical part outlines key topics such as clear processes, motivation, leadership, and modern working practices. It explains what employees need to feel comfortable, such as recognition, participation, and clearly defined tasks. The thesis also addresses change processes, new demands in the working world, and the importance of feedback and development opportunities. The practical part is based on five interviews with experts from organizations that have already implemented process management. The interviews were conducted using a semistructured guide and evaluated with qualitative content analysis. The results show that process management can improve employee satisfaction, especially when employees understand their tasks, can actively contribute, and receive support from their leaders. Clear structures provide security, strengthen individual responsibility, and encourage collaboration. It is essential that processes are easy to understand, fit the company culture, and are regularly updated. When developed collaboratively and communicated clearly, processes can foster motivation, cooperation, and trust. In the future, maintaining process flexibility and meaningfully embedding contemporary work practices, particularly agile methodologies, into organizational structures will be of critical importance.. Topics like sustainability, digitalization, and employee retention will also play an important role.
