Abstract

This paper examines the impact of digitalization on security management in the industrial sector, focusing on modern technologies such as Cloud Computing, Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The aim is to understand how digitalization changes and enhances security management. The paper analyzes the definitions and specific changes brought about by digital transformation as well as the new risks. Methodologically, it is based on literature research with examples from case studies. Key findings include increased flexibility and efficiency through Cloud Computing, intelligent security solutions and risk assessments through Big Data, improved monitoring and alarm systems through IoT, and automated threat detection and comprehensive security analyses through AI. The conclusion shows that digitalization significantly improves security management by reducing human errors and increasing responsiveness. For the future, continuous integration and adaptation of these technologies are recommended to meet the rising demands and new threats. Overall, the paper highlights the transformative role of digitalization in security management and emphasizes the need for comprehensive and adaptive security strategies.
