    Abstract

    The aim of this Master Thesis is to study available 3D Modeling Generative AI technologies and to integrate them into the Conceptual Design Process. Several methods have been used for the creation of the Conceptual Design Process with AI integration: theoretical research, market research, and key user interviews. The theoretical research included primary research about AI, the state-of-the-art of 3D Modeling Generative AI technologies, AI in product development, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) in the Conceptual Design Process, and the correlation of the Conceptual Design Process with Generative AI. The market research focused on AI models available on the market that can generate 3D models, as well as additional AI models that can assist with 3D modeling tasks. Twelve qualitative interviews with key users were conducted to determine which technologies they are interested in and for which types of tasks these technologies can be implemented. Based on the gathered research data and interviews, tables have been created to represent the Conceptual Design Process enhanced by 3D Modeling Generative AI. Additionally, the tables outline the types of tasks that can be fulfilled by Rendering AI and AI browsers.
