BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS OF SUCH A SOFTWARE TOOL, A SIMPLE LANGUAGE FOR PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT IS DEFINED AND THE STRUCTURE OFA SOFTWARE PRODUCT FOR SUPPORTING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND DOCUMENTATION ON EACH LEVEL OF ABSTRACTION IN TOPDOWN PROGRAMMING IS PRESENTED. AFTER THE DESCRIPTION OF THE DIAGRAM GENERATOR'S COMPONENTS THE PRACTICABILITY OF THIS SOFTWARE TOOL IS DEMONSTRATED BY AN EXAMPLE. IN GERMAN.
