abstract = "In this paper, we propose a systems engineering approach for the analysis of reconfigurable manufacturing systems. This work contributes in the implementation of the systems engineering perception in industry 4.0 researches framework. The approach is based on interoperability concept in order to correlate diverse requirements as input for the analysis, and generate a result based on reconfigurability parameters. Beside the approach itself, this paper presents an application on a reconfigurable machine tool that demonstrates the applicability of the developed method.",
