Abstract

The cubic Laves phase compound YMn2 is known for strongly enhanced spin fluctuations above TN, the ordering temperature of the Mn sublattice. On substitution of Y by Lu TN is shifted towards lower temperatures providing a way to study the spin fluctuation behaviour down to lowest temperatures.
