Abstract

Singularity is a mixed reality game that utilizes a virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) in combination with a floor-based co-located gaming environment. The technological and design limitations introduced by this specific setup are explored through the implementation of interaction modalities for collaboration and communication between players. The project serves as a basis for the analysis of existing challenges and possible solutions and serves as a foundation for future experimentation.
