SCM Challenges and Opportunities in the Timber Construction Sector

The purpose of this paper is to identify the main challenges of companies in the timber construction sector and to provide improvement opportunities that can be implemented in short-, medium- and long-term. To identify the challenges and propose actions for each company a literature review, a multiple case research were conducted using the Quick Scan Audit Methodology. Finally, the findings and outcomes are compared with each other to support companies in the timer construction sector when implementing and restructuring their day-to-day activities.
