Abstract

The representations and constructions of similarity based fuzzy orderings were discussed. The dissemination of similarity based fuzzy orderings, which appeared to be unavoidable as soon as the classical correspondences between preorderings, equivalence relations and orderings were taken into account was advocated. The representation and construction results demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed similarity based fuzzy orderings.
