Abstract

Protective relays are important parts of power transmission network. They require testing during different stages of relay development, commissioning, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting. The purpose of testing protective relays is to ensure correct operation of the relay. The paper proposes remote protective relay test system via Application Service Provider (ASP) to enhance troubleshooting testing performed by engineers on remote locations.
