Digital learning media are nowadays present in different educational settings. In this paper central digital learning media and learning scenarios are presented. From a psychological view different questions concerning the influence of the learning behavior, fostering the learning process and the individual knowledge construction as well as the collaborative knowledge generation are foreground. In doing so, an overview about the different learning theories and the associated learning media are given. Finally, Multimedia learning with relevant concepts and theories presented in a short overview.
