Abstract
The deployment of human-machine collaboration is becoming more widespread in the industrial environment. The appropriate level of automation depends on the complexity of tasks, required investments, variable labor costs, planned production quantity and costs for product changeovers due to variant diversity. For the deployment of manual workplaces, human-machine collaboration, industrial robots and complete automation cost-effective fields of applications are derived.
