Abstract

Teaching the programming fundamentals using a modern, framework-based language is an important step in computer science education. In teaching students from other degree programmes, problems related to the structure of the programming languages and organizational constraints have been encountered. Based on these experiences, we recommend a solution adapted to the situation at universities of applied sciences that allows a high-degree of proficiency to be obtained.
