Abstract
Flexible and quick respond to design and call quantity changes are required at the truck market. Due to higher wage costs, European production sites need also efficient and well organized assembly processes. This paper details the implementation of a Virtual Reality System which combines virtuality and reality. With Virtual- and Mixed Reality systems, assembly processes could be planned with well readiness for series production, very early in the design phase.
