MICROWAVE DESORPTION OF ZEOLITE FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PROCESSES

Research output: Contribution to conferencePoster

Abstract

This study investigates microwave-assisted desorption of zeolites as a innovative and energy-efficient method for adsorption applications in renewable energy systems. Comparative experiments using various zeolites reveal that microwave desorption significantly enhances drying efficiency compared to conventional oven methods. The results highlight the critical roles of initial water content, ion composition, and temperature control in optimizing energy use. These findings support the potential of microwave desorption for CO₂-neutral storage and purification processes, offering a promising pathway toward more efficient and decentralized energy systems.
