Abstract
This article explores the usage of media and Web 2.0 tools by students in informal learning contexts. The results of a survey (770 Austrian students) revealed a poor Web 2.0 usage in the context of informal learning while Internet-based services are dominantly used. Potentials of integrating Web 2.0 in pedagogical scenarios are discussed.
