abstract = "This paper presents a practically tested solution for the GNSS based train localization of autonomous driving trains. When driving trains without driver on an open access railway track like a regional railway line obstacle detection is compulsory. This obstacle detection requires a reliable and very accurate autonomous train localization at reasonable low costs. The presented solution is based on a set of low cost sensors with GNSS as a vital part of the sensors. The data of the sensors are input for an Extended Kalman filter.",
