Abstract

For the analysis of Talbot-Lau Grating Interferometry X-ray Computed Tomography (TLGI-XCT), information from its three imaging modalities (absorption contrast, differential phase contrast and dark field contrast) needs to be combined for comprehensive results. We present interaction and visualization techniques that enable users to explore a combined visualization of all three modalities. The user edits the transfer functions (TFs) of the modalities individually and manipulates their weights. Through this interactive analysis technique, the user can more quickly gain insights into the analyzed material. We show the effectiveness of our technique using a real-world TLGI-XCT dataset.
