Abstract

n this article, examples of the inverted classroom model (ICM) at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria are described in various settings, as well as in a specific course in detail. Among other things, ICM is used at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria to meet needs of diversity such as varying prior subject knowledge or varying learning speeds among students. The implementation of ICM also shows that diversity of the lecturers such as e.g. affinity to technology but also because of individual teaching and learning scenarios, influences the way lecturers use ICM in their classes.
