Abstract
To reach the goals of the logistical positioning
of a company it is necessary
to design the production planning and
control (PPC) in a near optimal manner.
Knowledge about the different PPC systems
and their parameters is an absolute
prerequisite of this. For this reason the
PPC-system CONWIP, which is not very
widespread in Europe, is discussed in
this article.
