N2 - Though cloud computing is considered mature for practical application, there is a need for more research. The identified challenges primarily concern client-cloud interaction and cloud interoperability. As to the former one, we highlight the needs of clients, contracting and legal aspects, and missing foundations as necessary fields of investigation. For the latter one clouds are considered to constitute repositories of services, so the challenge is to realize web-scale, service-oriented, distributed computing.
