Abstract

Motivation: In Austria there are a lot biogas plants, which are combusting biogas for electrical energy. A great potential is to use this biogas for producing biofuels. Natural gas can be utilized as fuel for cars, trucks or busses, and also biogas could be used. Results: The utilization of biogas for generating fuel for vehicles is not really tested yet. There is only one biogas plant which produces bio-gas fuel, economics demand is raising, and so the researchers are looking for cheap, effective methods to produce fuel out of biogas. Conclusion: Necessarity of research is very great for producing biogas fuel. Governments should convey to give more money for new biogas plants which can produce fuel for vehicles. Fuel produced of biogas should be more attractive because there is a great potential in building local biogas fuel stations
