N2 - The control of one particular production machine within the flexible manufacturing of precast floor slab elements is discussed. The realization of hardware and software for the control of the concrete distributor is presented. In the first step, the plant to be controlled is analyzed, and a dynamic model is presented. The second step comprises the design of the controller with the help of a dynamic simulation. The concept introduced has been implemented in several plants and is operating successfully.
