Abstract

This paper describes a method and implementation for removing global, repetitive 2D artifacts in images by interactively editing their Fourier spectra. Based on this concept, "InSpectral" is an interactive software application that provides intuitive and easy-to-use image editing functionality in the spectral domain with immediate visual feedback in the spatial domain.
