Abstract
Among all optimal control tasks, the computation of time optimal trajectories is the supreme discipline. If the control appears linear in the state equations and therefore also linear in the Hamiltonian, two cases can be considered for minimum time problems; either the control is singular or of the bang-bang type. In this article, we want to pay special attention to the latter, non-singular case, considering bounded (linear) inputs where only the switching points are unknown.
