Project Details
Description
Current market and possible geopolitical and economic developments are prompting TGW Logistics to evaluate the development of possible production locations in the NAFTA region. There is therefore a need for a location comparison to develop possible American intralogistics production locations in the USA, Canada and Mexico in order to make the respective specific advantages and disadvantages transparent. The aim of this project is to create a well-founded decision-making basis for the selection of a suitable location for a new production site in North America, taking into account the geographical proximity of the potential locations in Canada and Mexico to the US sales market. The countries in focus need to be analyzed because - despite their geographical proximity - they sometimes offer very different economic conditions, cost structures, market potential and strategic opportunities. A holistic location analysis makes it possible to use the respective strengths of these regions in a targeted manner for your own value chain and to build up competitive advantages through strategic expansion of the company.
