Description
Since the clinical picture of diabetic foot syndromes, especially Charcot foot, is often insufficiently recognized, incidences are steadily increasing. In this activity (TC05) we will develop a comprehensive approach that includes the differential diagnosis based on X-ray and computed tomography (CT) data, investigations of the effect of pathological changes in bone microstructure on biomechanics, and training of orthopedic surgeons on surgical simulators.
