Regio13: Biogas+

Biogas production is a well established, widely accepted process for alternative energy production. The theoretical biogas potential is only tapped to a minor degree - valuable energy resources remain unused.

An increase in plant capacity can be realised by raising plant efficiency or building new biogas plants.

The aim of the project is to support an increase in biogas capacity. The performance of existing biogas plants should be upgraded by developing a complex monitoring system and a new technology for farm-based, small scale, economically feasible biogas plants.
