Project Details
Description
Computational linguistics investigates how natural languages can be processed using software systems / algorithms. Within the scope of this project, the focus is on a subsection of computational linguistics: named entity linking. Named entity linking is the task of correctly determining the identity of entities mentioned in a text and linking it to an existing knowledge base (such as Wikipedia). Especially knowledge work is often to a large extent document-centered work and users can be supported by semantically enriching theses documents based on named entity linking systems. In addition, real-time capability with a big data platform were investigated.
