EDUdig – Enhancing the development of educators’ digital competencies

Project Details

Description

The main objectives of the EDUdig Erasmus + Project are enhancing the awareness of the necessity of constant individual development of educators’ digital competencies and creating resources for educators to develop their digital competencies, which are based on the DigCompEdu framework (European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators).
The existing European framework DigCompEdu defines educators’ professional and pedagogic competencies as well as learners’ competencies in six specific areas, including twenty-two competencies. Therefore, the EDUdig project provides practical content to fill the framework, including didactic concepts for online lectures, e-learning tools and recommendations. In the next stage, the EDUdig creates, develops and implements a guided online course for the educators of participating partner organizations and lastly publishes an e-teaching manual for self-directed learning.
