BF-IPSI+ - Initiating projects of social innovation - the path forward

Project Details

Description

The current IPSI+ project (from 01/01/2022 to 12/31/2023) takes up the existing experiences and structures of the first IPSI project and in doing so, works out the current expertise and thematical priorities of the two departments GSP and SO, which were established in recent years. Furthermore, the objective of the original IPSI project was expanded. The topic no longer just focuses primarily on the field of social innovation, but rather deals with a holistic recording and bundling of the research competencies of both departments using a "competence map". The main issue is to make the research areas of the two departments visible, both externally and internally in relation to their relevance and added value and to develop one or more research groups with a focus on social science. The IPSI+ project thus makes a substantial contribution to link experiences, skills, and resources in the field of evidence-based social sciences research. This can pave the way for a future-oriented research landscape at the Faculty of Medical Technology and Applied Social Sciences at the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences.
