BF CoE-E/SP - Basic funding for the CoE-E and CoE-SP

The Centers of Excellence (CoE) at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria were originally implemented in line with the action areas of the "Innovatives OÖ 2020" program. Over the past few years, they have established themselves in their specific topic areas. The planned joint project now offers the opportunity to make the necessary adjustments to the development strategy in order to be recognized as a beacon of top-level research at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in the coming years.
The objectives are:
- Consolidation of activities from both CoE Energy and Smart Production.
- Application for a large, joint (cross-CoE) research project.
- Further development of scientific and commercial R&D projects. Networking of cross-CoE resources and competency exchange, as well as consistent joint dissemination.
- Building knowledge and strengthening subject expertise in the respective centers. Creation and expansion of collaborations and partnerships with other organizations and research institutions.
- Establishment of a competence center for research and economic cooperation in Upper Austria. The scientific output should be presented in event formats suitable for the target group.
- Strengthening of the study operations. Transfer of research results into education, thereby directly strengthening the local economy.
- Implementation of third mission measures through the intensive cooperation of the two CoEs with DigiSpace and the Center of Life Long Learning (CoL3) at the UAS Upper Austria.
