About me

Khaled Saleh Pascha, born on July 21, 1965, is a professor of building technology at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Since August 2016, his focus has been on sustainable building design.

His research concentrates on the integration of renewable energy sources into building envelopes, such as photovoltaic systems and thermal solar collectors, as well as issues related to circular construction (the recyclability of building materials, components, and entire buildings) and contemporary timber construction. Khaled advocates a holistic approach that promotes a system-integrated consideration of all design parameters in the early conceptual phase to maximize the ecological sustainability of buildings.

His research interests include dynamic building simulation, structural glass construction, and the use of natural building materials in high-efficiency building concepts.
