Die Forschungsgruppe konzentriert sich auf Multimedia- Webanwendungen und die Analyse und Darstellung von Mediendaten und realisiert anwendungsorientierte Forschungsprojekte in Kooperation mit anderen Forschungsgruppen aus den Bereichen künstliche Intelligenz sowie Informationssysteme und Technologie. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen dabei auf Multimediaanwendungen im Web, Datenvisualisierung von Mediendaten, Datenanalyse und Machine Learning sowie Semantische Textanalyse.
