Die Forschungsgruppe AIST beschäftigt sich mit der Verbesserung und Automatisierung von IT-assistierten Systemen durch die Anwendung von Algorithmen und Paradigmen des Maschinellen Lernens sowie der Data Science. Das Forschungsspektrum umfasst das Standardgetriebene Process Mining in der Medizin IT, bis hin zu der Verbesserung von Softwaresystemen durch Künstliche Intelligenz und Maschinelles Sehen sowie die Digitale Transformation für Geschäftsprozesse von KMUs.
