I was invited to talk at the CSCW 2022 Lasting Impact Award session along with other panelists Judith Olson, John C. Tang, and Crista Lopes. The winning paper in 2022 is: Kraut, R., Egido, C., & Galegher, J. (1988, January). Patterns of contact and communication in scientific research collaboration. In Proceedings of the 1988 ACM conference on Computer-supported cooperative work (pp. 1-12).
My task was to reflect on the implications for modern work (both remote & hybrid).
