Smart robotics encompasses AI-based systems that are able to learn from their environment and based on experience in order to take independent action. We are talking here about the 5th generation of robots, which represent an active and dynamic field of research.
This generation of robots has a wide range of sensors, high processing power and the special ability to make decisions themselves. They are constantly learning and adapt independently to new situations. They use a learned knowledge base and real-time data to make their decisions. These robots work autonomously and can interact directly with humans (collaborative robotics).
The project focuses on the realization of functions for the 5th generation of robotics using a mobile wheeled robot from Magna Powertrain.
