Abstract

Key figures in logistics like inventory, service level and lead time are important for production planning and control. Planning tools and user?s evaluation of them are examined with the help of an empirical study. Accuracy of planning, application of adequate lot sizes and overlapping batches can improve key figures in logistics. These correlations are verified using statistical tools.
