Abstract

By doing in-depth analyses of selected cases this chapter identifies five problems of young adults hindering EU communication, namely inattention, incomprehension, disorientation, manipulability and mistrust. They result from a lack of willingness to deal with the EU, a lack of political knowledge, a lack of media literacy and a lack of trust.
