Abstract

The presentation sketches the past, present and future of electronic banking services, relying on the experience gained in the evolution of the electronic banking system of the Austrian Raiffeisen Banking Group. The trend towards mobile computing devices implies several challenges on software construction. An overview of the state-of-the-art of software development on mobile gadgets forms the foundation of understanding the vision to develop a single application logic for various gadgets with significantly different interface requirements.
