E-Learning in Part-Time Study Programs: An Experiance Report

Abstract

Due to the timing constraints in part-time studies, the use of distance learning almost always becomes a must. For several years now we have been educating software engineers with this form at the bachelor level. We developed content for e-learning mainly as screen casts. This paper shows why and how we did it, and thus gives pointers to educators in similar situations. It covers both some didactical aspects and a lot of technical solutions.
