Abstract

We present the current state of our research project that enables highly vision-impaired people (who are frequently classified as "blind" by European government definitions) to interact with a computer by means of well-defined interface processes as well as color-coded GUI elements. This concept has proven successful on desktop computers and is currently being transferred to mobile devices for increased mobility and communication of our target customers.
