Dagmar Strohmeier is fh-professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, Linz, Austria and professor II at the University of Stavanger, Norway. Her main research area is on peer relations among adolescents with a cross-cultural and cross-national perspective and a special focus on immigrant youth. She has developed, implemented, and evaluated the ViSC program to foster social and intercultural competencies in Austrian, Romanian, Cypriot, Turkish, and Kosovar schools.
