HeuristicLab is a framework for heuristic and evolutionary algorithms that is developed by members of the Heuristic and Evolutionary Algorithms Laboratory (HEAL) since 2002. In this talk a general overview on HeuristicLab will be given and methods for extending and adapting HeuristicLab to concrete optimization scenarios will be given. Furthermore, the advancements of HeuristicLab over the last two years will be summarized and presented to the audience.
